Dr Simon Freakley

Simon Freakley is a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Bath. His research focuses on the development and application of heterogeneous catalysts for sustainable chemical processes including catalytic transformations using renewable energy sources such as electricity and visible light. This includes projects concerning acid catalysed biomass conversion, hydrogenation reactions and water splitting using oxide materials.
