A two-year Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the manufacturing of sustainable microcapsules is offered at the University of Bath as part of the Sustainable Chemicals and Materials Manufacturing Hub (SCHEMA). You will work with Prof Davide Mattia and Prof Matthew Jones, in partnership with Naturbeads ltd, to develop a continuous manufacturing process for biodegradable cellulose-based microcapsules to replace fossil fuel-based plastic microcapsules used in a wide range of personal and consumer products responsible for polluting the environment.
