Aniruddha completed his PhD in Materials Science from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, in 2019, focusing on renewable monomer synthesis, bio-based high-performance polymers, their functionalization, and applications. Following his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher on various international projects, gaining expertise in renewable high-performance functional polymer synthesis, polymer nanocomposites, ring-opening polymerizations, degradable polymers, and flow-system polymerizations. After moving to the UK in 2024, he contributed to the Horizon 2020 projects CHAMPION and ReSolute at the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence, University of York, implementing green chemistry in polymer synthesis. He is now a SCHEMA-Hub PDRA in the Buchard group at York, working on renewable monomer synthesis and sustainable polymers for liquid formulations, contributing to WP1 and WP3.
