David Ning

David is based at the University of Oxford and his research focuses on using carbon dioxide to make high performance, recyclable engineering polymers: combined experimental and machine learning investigations. 

David's Master’s project was supervised by Professors Charlotte Williams and focused on the chemical recycling of polycarbonates. He is interested in the synthesis of polymers from renewable resources and their applications as sustainable materials. Outside of chemistry, he enjoys reading, going on walks, and playing the piano.
